The World Trade Organization will be holding its 4th Ministerial Conference from November 9-13 in the city of Doha, Qatar. The final draft of the conference's Ministerial Declaration has provoked much criticism from leaders of developing nations, environmentalists, and organized labor who claim that the declaration gives northern, industrialized nations too much control over world trade policy.
Food First attended the conference, acting as a leading voice for the small farmers and communities of the Third World.
