Economic Human Rights:
The Time Has Come! Campaign


Past Events

In May 2000 the campaign supported the Black Farmers and Agriculturalists Association, one of the organizations which provided testimony in the 1999 Georgia Bus Tour, in organizing and holding a rally in Washington, DC.

On November 11th and 12th, 1999 the first of the Progressive Caucus, Economic Human Rights Bus Tours traveled through Georgia.

A Washington, DC Congressional Progressive Caucus hearing, cosponsored with Progressive Challenge, was held on September 23, 1998.

On May 2,1998 a Bay Area hearing, the Festival For Bread, Work & Justice, was held in Oakland, California on the Human Rights implications of increasing hunger and poverty.
